Fashion update 1

For my Fashionista friends & those travelling to Europe, this might interest you.
Many women are wearing dresses and skirts, all lengths (long dresses to the ankles are very popular anytime of the day). It is common for many to wear black leggings with shorts, skirts, dresses or long tops.  Tight pants are the norm, and in any colour. The most popular colours for Women are beige, white, pink, green or red. Lots of layers. Everyone wears a scarf.  Little suit jackets are common. There are lots of leather jackets worn.  Shoes worn are mostly flats, but lots of beautiful high heeled shoes. Sneakers, like Vans, are really popular. It is very common to see women wearing casual boots that a calf height. Jeans everywhere and are part of the basic wardrobe. Always a European classic are linen items. The women are carrying big purses.
Ok guys, the fashions are colourful, probably more so than for the women. A must for guys is slim leg pants (cotton or jeans), definitely not wide leg unless you are really fashion forward and wear really wide leg linen pants or the super low crouch casual pants. The men's pants are bold, blue, green, rust burgundy, gold. Very popular is a light weight cardigan sweater, of course it must be coloured, blue & green are the most popular. The guys are wearing casual coloured shoes.  Sneakers are the norm.  Jeans go any where and look great with a suit jacket. The business men are wearing slim fit suits, they look fabulous. Even men are wearing scarves!
It is very common to see people with back packs, not just those travelling. Most travellers carry a large back pack & small carry on suitcase, even smaller than the carry ons we take on the plane.
