June 14, dinner

We met up with 2 other couples who invited us for dinner at Cervejaria Trindade, www.cervejariatrindade.pt  a 13th century convent converted to a restaurant brewery serving traditional Portugeuse food, yummy. It was a good walk to get to the restaurant up hill and down alleys; Mark & I were followers as the others new the way, thank goodness! We had a fun evening with these couples from Pittsburg and Texas. We had lots in common with the doctor, school administrator, locomotive engineer, and paralegal. Portugal is beautiful, lots of hills and located on the river. This picture is the original funicular that takes people up to the top of a steep hill.
