June 8 train to Granada

Today is a travel day from Sevilla to Granada, 2nd class fast train, comfortable, but definitely not 1st class on the AVE train. The scenery is very interesting and more arid. As we left Sevilla, it was very evident, the less than prosperous apartments & barely surviving farms. Many houses have been abandoned. It was our understanding that unemployment is 25%, the locals confirm this is correct. However, unemployed for the under age 30 group is 40%. In the cities high unemployment is not obvious and Spain does an excellent job at keeping the cities very clean & safe to promote tourism.
