June 10-The Albayzin

Today was to be a quiet walking day, just wandering, but it didn't quite turn out that way. As we approached Plaza Nueva to take the bus up the steep hill to the Albayzin and explore the old Moorish quarter a very helpful young guy on a Segway managed to sell us a walking tour for the Albayzin and Sacromonte. I usually only buy tours that I've research but everything seemed above board so what the heck, it was only 25 euros per person for 2.5 hours with an English speaking guide and only a few people. There were only 3 of us on the tour (perfect) and our guide's name was Elena who spoke very good English. The tour company is www.segwaygranada.com
